Ed Barrow managed the Detroit Tigers (1903-1904) and the Boston Red Sox (1918-1920). Barrow is best known for his career with the New York Yankees serving as general manager (1921-1945) and later as chairman of the board. He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1953.
