Williams was born in Los Angeles in 1956. Since 2000, his work has been represented by David Zwirner. He has had nine solo exhibitions at the gallery, including his first presentation at the London location in 2013. Footwear (Adapted for Use) is on view through April 18, 2020 at the gallery’s East 69th Street location in New York.
