Swaim, Don

Donald L. Swaim was born in Wichita, Kansas in the 1930s. He graduated from Ohio University in 1959 with a BFA degree. He then went on to work with WCBS as a writer, editor, reporter, anchor, and producer for 30 years. For twelve years, Swaim produced the radio series "Book Beat." Many outstanding writers were interviewed, including Dick Francis, Paul Theroux, Richard Nixon, and Gloria Steinem. In addition to his journalism career, Swaim is a fiction writer known as Don Swaim.
