Judith Viorst is a popular and acclaimed poet and author, probably best known for her delightful children's books. These works, which are often autobiographical, and frequently feature her three sons, Anthony, Nicholas, and Alexander, show a gift for addressing serious problems with humor and insight. She has also published adult poetry, nonfiction, and teleplays, and was a regular columnist for Redbook magazine.
