Robert Ames Bennet (1870-1954) was a writer from Colorado. Early in his career Bennet wrote short stories, photoplay and drama scripts, and novels for a variety of genres. During this time period he sometimes wrote under the pen name Lee Robinet. By the 1930s Bennet became primarily a western writer, penning such stories as "Caught in the Wild," "Cowboy Caballero," and "Guns on the Rio Grande."
