Lloyd William Dinkelspiel Sr. was an attorney and a partner in the San Francisco law firm of Heller, Ehrman, White, McAuliffe. He also served as a president of Stanford University's Board of Trustees and as president of the San Francisco Jewish Community Center during its transition from the Young Men's Hebrew Association.
