William "Mitch" Coulter moved to Walker County, Georgia from Tennessee in 1853 with his father Alexander. In the 1850s he lived in Cedar Grovve, Ga. and in the 1860s in High Point, Georgia. Coulter settled in Cassandra, Ga. in 1872.
