Skinner grew up in Chicago and nearby Flossmoor, and attended the high school of the University of Chicago and the University, where she studied writing and psychology. In July 1936 she met psychologist and educator B.F. Skinner, who was then doing post-doctoral research at Harvard. They were married in Nov. 1936, had two daughters, and lived in Cambridge, Mass. Yvonne Skinner died in August 1997. For futher biographical information, see B.F.
