Bowman, Isaac, 1757-1826
Variant namesBowman was born and lived most of his life in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. He served under George Rogers Clark during the Revolutionary War, and was related to Clark by marriage. Bowman also received 2,156 acres of land after the war, including tract number 1 of Clark's Grant in Jeffersonville, Ind.
