Linda Lael Miller is an author of romance/historical fiction. She has written over 50 novels and been on the New York Times best seller list. There are over 14 million copies of her books in print. Linda Lael Miller is a Washington State author born Jun. 10, 1949 in Spokane, WA. She grew up in Northport WA where her father was a town marshal. After her high school graduation, she wanted to travel to new places. Miller admits to having wanderlust, and has spent time living in London, Italy, and Arizona. She has recently had a house built on thirty wooded acres in Spokane, and has made that her permanent home. Many of Miller's books are set in Arizona or other part of the Western United States, where she lived for many years, and her heroines are known for being extremely strong women. Miller also wrote a very popular series of vampire romances, and has experimented with other paranormal romances as well. She has written under the penname of Lael St. James.
