Author and poet; born and educated in England; arrived in Brisbane 1889 and engaged in free-lance journalism; in 1901 moved to NSW. His works include "The Western Track and other Verses", "The Sphinx and Other Poems", and "The Eagles". He published seven volumes of verse and one of short stories between 1887 and 1944.
