Landscape painter; Boston, Massachusetts.

Born Minster, Ohio. In 1868 he went to Boston to study lithography. He lived in Paris and Munich from 1873-1876. In 1876 he returned to Boston and opened a studio. He exhibited at the Paris Expo 1900. His work is in the collection of the Worcester Museum and the Boston Museum of Fine Arts.
