Carl Jacobi is known as a writer of science-fiction, mystery, and fantasy materials. He attended the University of Minnesota from 1927-1930 and wrote for campus magazines. After leaving college he continued to live and work in Minneapolis, writing short stories that were published in pulp magazines. He also wrote novels and published compilations of his work. Jacobi died in 1997.
