Lieutenant Colonel Richard H. Sinnreich entered the United States (U.S.) Army in 1960 and graduated from the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, in 1965. He then served in the Federal Republic of Germany; Fort Bragg, North Carolina; Vietnam; and taught in the Department of Social Sciences, West Point. He also served in the 1st Armored Division artillery, Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE), Korea, Fort Sill, on the Department of the Army staff, School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS), and in the 9th Infantry Division. He retired from the Army in 1990.
