Charles Augustus Skinner (1824-1906) was born in Brownville, New York. He was ordained to the Universalist ministry in 1848 and pastored parishes in Dexter Village and Fairport, New York, Newark, New Jersey, and Cambridge and Somerville, Massachusetts.
