George Robert Walker, a son of Albert Loomis and Delphi Skillman Walker, was born in Sandusky, Ohio. The family lived there; North Platte, Nebraska; Mount Clemens, Michigan; and finally Mansfield, Ohio until migrating to the vicinity of San Diego. George was the oldest of the couple's two sons and three daughters. The daughters were Alberta, wife of Charles Wallace French Louie, wife of Fred S. Darby; and Mabel, wife of Derrick S. Webster. George apparently lived in the Chicago area where he established Walker Automobile Maintenance and Manufacturing Company. The company was in business from 1911-1921.
