Helen Selina Blackwood, Lady Dufferin and Claneboye, British song-writer, poet, and author. She was the granddaughter of the Irish playwright Richard Brinsley Sheridan, and the daughter of actor and soldier Thomas Sheridan, and novelist Caroline Henrietta Sheridan. One of Lady Dufferin's sisters was the author and law reform campaigner Caroline Norton.
