Variant namesDorothy Hutchinson (1905-1984) was a Quaker devoted to peace causes, as well as a civil rights activist, internationalist, writer, and lecturer. She was a founding member of the Peace Now Movement during World War II, president of the U.S. Section of the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom from 1961 to 1965, and international president of WILPF from 1965 to 1968.
