Jonathan Arnold (December 3, 1741 – February 1, 1793) was an American physician and statesman from New England.

Born in Providence, Rhode Island, Arnold studied medicine and commenced practice. A member of the general assembly of Rhode Island from Providence in 1776, Arnold served in the Continental Army as a surgeon, and directed the army hospital at Providence. He represented Rhode Island as a delegate to the Confederation Congress in 1782 and 1783. Arnold moved to a farm in St. Johnsbury, Vermont in 1787. He was appointed a member of the Governor's council and later served as a judge of Orange County, serving in that role until his death.

Arnold died in St. Johnsbury and was buried in Mount Pleasant Cemetery there.
