Emmette Redford (1905-1998) was a professor at the University of Texas at Austin almost continuously from 1925 to 1995, the last 25 years in the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs.

During World War II, he worked for the Office of Price Administration. His research focused on public administration, government and the economy and public policy.
