Ernst Henry Krause attended the University of Wisconsin, receiving his B.S. in 1934, his M.S. in 1935, and his Ph.D. in Physics in 1938. Krause began his career as a professional physicist and wartime coordinator of missile work at the Naval Research Laboratory, continuing from 1938-1954. Other affliiations include Lockheed (1954-1955), and Ford Aeronautics (1956-1962). Krause's primary research interests are missile systems, rocket development, and cosmic rays.
