Webb, Todd. American Photographer. Born: September 15, 1905 in Detroit, Michigan, United States. . Education: Newmarket High School, Ontario, 1920-24; University of Toronto, 1924-25; studied photography, under Ansel Adams, photography workshop, Detroit, 1940. Military service: Photographers mate first class, U.S. Navy, in the South Pacific, 1942-45. Family: Married Lucille Minqueau in 1949. Career: Freelance photographer since 1946: worked with Roy Stryker, Standard Oil Company, New York, 1947-49; in Paris and throughout Europe, 1949-54; and for the United Nations, New York, 1955-69. Recipient: Guggenheim Fellowship in Photography, 1955, 1956; National Endowment for the Arts Photography Fellowship, 1979.
