Title of the 4-song cycle in Russian is: Pesni i pli︠a︡ski smerti. The 4th song bears the Russian title Polkovodets. In this transcription it is given the English title Marshall of Death, although the Russian word means simply Field-Marshall.--Cf. Fleisher Collection.
