Freelance writer and editor, Lucy Komisar was vice president for public relations for the National Organization for Women (1970-1971) and also served on the Compliance Committee. She was the author of The New Feminism (1972), Down and Out in the USA: A History of Social Welfare (1973), and Corazon Aquino: The Story of a Revolutionary (1987).
