Bean, Peter Ellis, 1783-1846
Variant namesBean (1783?-1846) came to Texas with Philip Nolan’s expedition in 1800, fought with Jose Maria Morelos in Mexico against the Spanish royalists (1807-1815), and became Indian agent at Nacogdoches in 1825.
