Earp, Josephine Sarah Marcus
Variant namesJosephine Sarah Marcus was born about 1861 in Brooklyn and moved with her family to San Francisco in the 1860s. She left home in 1879 to join Pauline Markham's H.M.S. Pinafore troupe which brought her to Tombstone. She became Wyatt Earp's third wife, and lived with him until his death in 1929. Josephine died in 1944.
