Peter Charles Harris (b. Nov. 10, 1865, Kingston, Ga.-d. March 18, 1951), Major General in the U.S. Army, graduated from West Point in 1888. He participated in the Battle of San Juan Hill and the siege of Santiago de Cuba and in operations against Philippine insurgents (two tours). Prior to his retirement in 1922, General Harris was assigned to the office of the Adjutant General in Washington, D.C.
