James Herbert Brennan was born in County Down, Northern Ireland in 1940. Early in his career he was a journalist, editor, counselor, and advertising director, among other things. He has been a very prolific full time writer since 1973, writing fiction and nonfiction for children, young adults, and adults. He writes science fiction, fantasy, and adventure game books for children and nonfiction on esoteric subjects such as astral projection for adults. He is also a facilitator of seminars on spiritual development and psychical research. He lives and works in the Republic of Ireland.
