Painter, printmaker, and instructor; New York, N.Y. Born 1891 in Italy. Barile was an early student of John Sloan and his first monitor at the Art Students League, 1914. He was active in the WPA Fine Art Project. Directed Barile Art School, 1919-1939; head of Art Department, Peublo Junior College, 1939-1945.
