Ray Josephs (1912- ), a journalist and business consultant, worked as a reporter for the Philadelphia "Evening Bulletin" in Buenos Aires, Argentina from 1939-1946. In 1960 he founded International Public Relations Company, Ltd. (IPRC), a consulting firm which specializes in assisting Japanese companies with public relations in the United States. Josephs is the author of "Argentine Diary," a book about his experience in Argentina and several self-help books.

Ray Josephs (born 1912) is a well known journalist, author, and public relations consultant. He graduated from Northeast High School, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and attended the University of Pennsylvania from 1927 through 1929. He left the University to be a full-time reporter on the Philadelphia Evening Bulletin . He was a staff writer from 1929 through 1940 when he left the paper to become a foreign correspondent based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Mr. Josephs wrote a column for the Buenos Aires Herald and freelanced for the Christian Science Monitor, Variety, PM, and other U.S. newspapers and magazines from 1940 through 1944.

Mr. Josephs returned to the U.S. in 1944 to promote his book, Argentine Diary, and lecture on Latin American politics. In 1948 he joined Benjamin Sonnenberg's Publicity Consultants. In the late 1950s he founded International Public Relations Company, Ltd. (New York). He retired from IPRC, Ltd. in 1986 and served as a pro bono consultant for the Business Council for International Understanding through 1987.

Mr. Josephs has written hundreds of newspaper and magazine articles and many books. Some of his best known books are Argentine Diary, Latin America: Continent in Crisis, How to Make Money from Your Ideas, How to Gain an Extra Hour Every Day, and Streamlining Your Executive Workload .
