Established in 1932. The Committee on Business Affairs was the successor to the Committee on Buildings and Grounds and the Committee on Press and Extension. The Committee supervised the physical plant and related business operations of the University, including the purchase, construction, maintenance, and operation of buildings and grounds; the purchase of supplies and equipment; the handling of student fees and other similar income; and the operation of the University Press.
