Architect. He was on the W.A. Board of Architects, fellow of the W.A., Victorian and British Institutes, chairman organising a visit of the Prince of Wales in 1920 to W.A., W.A. Commissioner of the Empire Exhibition, delegate to the League of Nations Assembly, Chief Scout of W.A., State President of Toc H, patron of Legacy, Warden of W.A. War Memorial and director of several companies. In 1918, he invented, developed and manufactured steel casemates for machine guns.
