Bluegrass musician. Born April 23, 1938. Mandolin player. Teamed with brother, Clarence, to form the Country Boys and Kentucky Colonels, mid-1950s. Performed as a member of Bill Monroe's Blue Grass Boys and Lester Flatt's Nashville Grass, 1960s-1970s. Joined Country Gazette, mid-1970s. Joined the Nashville Bluegrass Band, 1980s.

The Whites settled in the Busselton district under the Group Settlement scheme. They were on Group 61, Lennox (Yelverton), Group 16, Abba River (Ruabon) and at Acton Park. They later moved to Kalgoorlie.
