French painter, writer and teacher, Ozenfant opened painting schools in Paris (1924 and 1932), London (1938), Cannes (1939) and New York (1939). In 1953 he was investigated by McCarthy and dismissed. He returned to France, where he was renaturalized.

The French painter Ozenfant was also an author and a professor. He founded the art review L'esprit nouveau (1920-1925), created the Ozenfant School of Fine Arts in New York (1939), and the Ozenfant atelier in Cannes (1955).
